God tells us Natalie; “What we believe in our Heart will determine our actions” and yes it is also True that what we focus on and put into our mind will bring results too but we need to be careful because Rubbish in, Rubbish out!
Below is one of my favorite verses about what we need to focus on.
Philippians 4 ( 8- 9 ) Finally Brethren; Whatever things are True, Whatever things are Noble, Whatever things are Just, Whatever things are Pure, Whatever things are Lovely, Whatever things are of Good report, if there is any Virtue and if there is anything Praiseworthy Meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do and the God of Peace will be with you.
To me, if there was a binder on it, it was a book to read. I was still in grade school and an avid reader. I read as a teenager a lot of books that should have had labels of warning. It took a lot of maturing mentally along with the desire to be pleasing to the Father that finally allowed me to give that kind of reading material up. Don’t kid yourself into saying it is just a book, because it isn’t. It is as surely addictive and damaging as any thing is when you are “hooked”. Philippians 4:8-9 was a blessing in my life.
