“The number one addiction of the human race is control.
When we cannot control a thing we fear it.
In these moments we forget our connection to God and the earth.
We doubt ourselves and imagine the worst possible outcome
rather than faithfully calling upon and relying on the guidance of spirit,
which is available at all times in all situations.”

So true. My daily prayer is to hand absolutely everything over to God and place Him at the centre of my life and give Him full control.
Blessings to you.

It took me a lifetime to learn that I control nothing in my life, Natalie. Life is much happier now that I have stopped trying to run my life and now have learned to let go and let God. A hard thing to do for most of us, but so much easier since I learned to stop trying for control. ((())) ❤

It took me a long time too! And I still find myself trying to be in control sometimes. ❌⭕️❌⭕️😘

Guilty there also. Some day I’ll learn to let it go, but someday is taking it’s own sweet time getting here. “Patience is a virtue, use it when you can, it’s seldom in a woman and never in a man.” Had to learn that in second grade and most of it sticks, sometimes, maybe. Not sure about the second line, but I had to repeat that so often as a kid.
