Goodness to be found in the shadows

Sparkle

Meet me in the shadow just beneath the old oak tree

Let’s speak the language of our childhood as we smile the whole day through

The soft blades to tickle our toes and the damp ground to keep us company

Our laughter to match the birdsong and summer breeze

Playmates, they will come and go but you and I remain until long after dark

Let’s make this our happy home our place to ‘Be’

You bring the pen and I the pages

Our next story to be written together as one

What a fantastic tale we shall tell
